We are currently urgently seeking HSE Professionals ba sed in Australia to fill several roles within various major companies within the Resources, Energy and Petrochemical sector and in particular would like to hear from persons with specific experience in the following

 

Health and Safety  Manager / Superintendents

 

As the Health & Safety Manager you will lead, direct and be the business expert in safety, environmental, compliance, investigations and risk related issues. You will be at the forefront of further developing a Zero Harm culture where people are motivated, skilled and accountable for the safety of themselves, their workmates and others in their work places.

Essential experience required

  • 5-10 years in a Senior HSE role and proven knowledge of HSE management best practices.
  •  Experience working on site in a resources or construction environment
  •  Incident Investigation experience, identification, analysis, reporting, recommendation and monitoring of performance
  •  HSE Training and Development including development and delivery of programs at all levels and within all areas. A certificate in workplace training and assessment or similar preferred
  •  Compliance through audit, monitoring and recommendation to address any areas of concern.
  •  Project leadership experiences to enable others to perform with guidance and support, advice and initiative
  •  Develop and maintain HSE Management Plans and other generalist HSE Coordination, reporting, advice, communications and any related safety issues

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor or Diploma qualifications in the OH&S area will be highly regarded
  • Audit training
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment would be an advantage.

Other experience expected

  • Excellent computer skills with a sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office
  • Interpersonal / verbal communication skills at all levels
  • Exceptional written communication skills
